Mrs. Caldwell's Gush
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces macaroni
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 teaspoon green pepper
- 1 28 ounce canned chopped tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
Brown meat in heavy pan.
Add sliced celery, onions, and chopped tomatoes (you can blend those).
Cook slowly over low heat, 1/2 hour.
Meanwhile, boil macaroni until tender and drain.
Add to meat mixture with green pepper and salt and pepper.
Simmer about 20 minutes more.
