Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup milk or cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions

Stir sugar and milk until it boils.

Cook without stirring until reaches 235 degrees (forms a soft ball when dropped into water).

Remove from heat, add butter and let stand in pan of water until cool.

Add vanilla and beat until creamy.

Stir in nuts and pour into buttered pans.

Mark into squares.
