This recipe comes from Dorothy’s sister Ruth.
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup onions chopped
- 1 cup green pepper chopped
- 2 pimiento
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 can sauerkraut rinsed and drained
Bring first five ingredients to a boil.
Put sauerkraut into a bowl and add the hot mixture.
Add remaining ingredients and toss well.
Chill well before serving - 3 to 4 hours
