Carrot Cake Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Boil all ingredients together for five minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. Poke holes every inch or so in the cake with a chopstick or something similar in size.
  3. Pour glaze evenly over the cake, letting it run down the sides.
