Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces macaroni
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon green pepper
  • 1 28 ounce canned chopped tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown meat in heavy pan.
  2. Add sliced celery, onions, and chopped tomatoes (you can blend those).
  3. Cook slowly over low heat, 1/2 hour.
  4. Meanwhile, boil macaroni until tender and drain.
  5. Add to meat mixture with green pepper and salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer about 20 minutes more.
